“Honesty, sincerity, strong determination, dedication, father’s blessings and wife’s support are the secrets of my success” says Mr.Aziz Fakhruddin, the owner of Tajmahal Marbles, with brimming enthusiasm.

Native to Udaipur in Rajasthan, Aziz is a young, energetic, dynamic, simple yet ambitious person. His father, Mr.Fakhruddin Chakkiwala came to Kuwait in 1962 and has settled here since. He was working as an Intenting agent. His mother, Late Mrs.Najma Fakhruddin Chakkiwala , a prominent lady in Kuwait, was working as head of department of English for all Arabic schools in Kuwait. She had consecutively won 3 gold medals.
Born and bred in Kuwait, Aziz had to return to India to continue his studies due to Saddam’s invasion. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and then completed his Diploma in International business in Belgium. Later he started a business in his hometown along with his brother.
His mother’s sad and sudden demise in 1991 was an emotional blow to the family. In 1996, his father came back to Kuwait and started marble business.
Aziz came to Kuwait in 1998, surveyed and studied the market and opened “Tajmahal Marbles” company and showroom. He also opened a Marble factory in Ankara at 2001. Today, the company is the marble supplier for several popular complexes and projects.

Taj Mahal Marble Center is a Marble , Granite, Natural Stone and reconstituted Stone company, engaged in import and fabrication of premium quality of Marble,Granite, Slate, sandstone,Quadzite Lime stone , Reconstituted Stone, Artificial Stone , Marble Articles and Mounments from Italy, Spain, India , brazil , Turkey, Iran , China, Dubai , Saudi Arabia , Taiwan , to name a few. They have their own fabrication unit since 1998 in the State of Kuwait.

Aziz takes care in testing the quality of the natural stones and he personally travels to inspect every material to ensure that the quality matches the samples.
He is cool-headed and friendly to his employees. He gives them the freedom, regards them as a family and induces involvement in them in the company activities. Aziz says proudly about his wife, Nasrin, “she inspires and encourages me in every way.”

Mrs .Nasrin is lucky to have both a great father and a good husband .Brought up in Kuwait and originating from a small town in Gujarat in a traditional Muslim home.
She did her schooling in Carmel School, Kuwait with academic and sports records and has won many medals during her school years.

Nasrin did her Petrochemical Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. After completing her MBA from Charles Sturt University in Australia, Nasrin worked for a year at an Australian firm as the General Manager.


Nasrin says that Aziz gives her the freedom of choice and encourages her to perform constructively. Though Aziz is busy in his business, Nasrin always supports and involves herself in social work. Through associations like IEI, Frontlines, Kuwait Voluntary Works Center, Nasrin actively participates in cultural and social services.
The couple cherishes their daughter, Najma and adds that they have found immense growth in business and life after her birth.
