Hailing from Gurudaspur in Punjab his father, Mr.S.K.Nanda moved to Delhi in 1966 and started Security investments Ltd, which is running successfully in North India since then.

Bharat Nanda graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Commerce in Delhi. Right from his graduation days, he assisted his father in his business with his brother Mr. Sandeep Nanda. He finished his MBA in Finance and Marketing in 1996 simultaneously.

As his Father-in-law was based in Kuwait, Bharat got the opportunity to visit Kuwait frequently. This gave him the chance and time to study the Kuwait market and noticed that there was no establishment to educate and guide the NRIs with their investments in their home country.
No success is a cake-walk. He had to struggle to search for sponsors and to start the company as per the norms and rules prevailing in Kuwait.

Moashk Sec and Investments Co, popularly known as Moashk, was started in August 2006 as a part of Mohammed Ashkanani International group. Within a short span of time, it has acquired around 3000 customers and is functioning successfully. Through his earlier strong relationship, Bharat has helped in bringing the big brands like HDFC, Reliance, SBI, mutual fund, TATA to the doorstep of all Indians in Kuwait.

To add feather to his cap, Bharat Nanda was able to make a strategic tie-up with prestigious HDFC Ltd, the pioneer in housing loan business, to provide housing loan to Indians in Kuwait. As expansion to his company’s activities Moashk has recently started their operations in Qatar-Doha and also ventured into Real estates Services

Convenience of customers is most important for growth of any company. Keeping this in mind, Moashk will be soon starting its branches in Sharq and Fahaheel. Information Technology is what Bharat doesn’t want to compromise. Bharat uses latest of software well-designed to update customers on the performance of various funds and markets, The software helps investors to track the status of their investments on regular basis. The portfolio of the investor gets updated on daily basis as it is linked to the main registrars in India i.e. Karvy and CAMS. The company works with long term vision.

All the services given by Moashk are “Free of Cost”. The philosophy of the company is to educate customers so that they are able to take well-informed decisions regarding their investments. To do this, Bharat’s company conducts regular investor meets along with Fund Managers of all the big Asset Management Companies in India.

The few recently happened meets were conducted along with TATA in Crowne Plaza, Kotak Mahindra in J W Marriott, SBI in Radisson SAS and many more. To provide regular information to investors in Kuwait, Bharat launched his company’s website “www.moashkinvest.com.”
Strong determination and clarity in mission are his strengths. People with high IQ level are selected and trained for their jobs. The employees are kept informed about the Indian economy. Each task is handed over to a suitable person and thus proper delegation of work is done which is essential for any organization’s success.

Bharat Nanda is a family-oriented person. Badminton and singing are his hobbies. His parents and wife provide him with the much needed moral support.

Bharat Nanda is married to Mrs.Anu Nanda. They have known each other since college. Anu, after her B.A graduation, joined in to the family business and then because of the interest in travel field she joined American express-Travel Division in India.

Anu came to Kuwait and worked for Dnata, Badur travels and now in Travel club. She is currently the Manager-Operation of Travel club. She says that her husband is her strength. The freedom and good understanding in the relationship have helped her to come up in life.

Her motto is “Utilise the time in constructive ways”. She is a trained dancer. Her hobby is reading. Their daughter Shifa Nanda is in II std in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
