( About Author-Frontliners –kuwait)
Mohandoss has written more than 100 novels, 300 short stories, 23
novelettes and 4 TV dramas. He writes on various themes - social,
detective and on love. He has to his credit more than 50 books published
and his works have appeared in all leading Tamil magazines and
newspapers. Yet he is very modest and self-effacing.
He intentionally refrains from all other time pass activities to devote
his efforts solely to writing which started way back during his school
days.
Mohandoss attributes his inspiration to the famous "Thuglak" magazine
and reveres "Saavi" who encouraged him to write more and more. His
success is also due to the efforts of Mr Ramesh of 'Dina Malar' and the
constant support and guidance of his friend, Mr Manohar.
Mohandoss gets his inspiration for writing from true incidents and
people flock to him to narrate their tales and experiences requesting
him to write about the same. . This has been very popular with the
readers and has evoked wide appreciation. He punctiliously devotes two
hours daily to writing.
A simple man ,
born in an agricultural family, Mohandoss hails from a remote village
called Nambukuruchy in Tiruchi District, Tamil Nadu which still lacks
the postal facility. His first work appeared in the Magazine of St.
Joseph's College where he did his B.Sc.Then he steadily progressed
towards penning short stories, novels etc.
From 1994 he is
working for Kuwait National Petroleum Company . Mohandoss feels a sense
of pride in owning that his success is due to the support, patience and
guidance of his wife ARULMOZHI, and their only daughter VINU, who
correctly reads his mind and reflects his ambitions and aspirations in
every way.
